What started with three young students, now is a growing MedTech company with 7 employees and a CE-certified product on its way. CC Diagnostics develops a new test for cervical cancer screening and triage of HPV positive women, to determine the need for a follow-up colposcopy. Their Methica test evaluates the levels of methylation of a panel of tumor-supressor genes. The test will increase the overall diagnostic performance with 33%, saving thousands of lives and millions of euros.

The founder of CC Diagnostics, Nutte van Belzen was a medical student at the RUG.
